Chef Harald Bresselschmidt of Aubergine Restaurant has been sourcing mushrooms from Christian (mushroom hunter) for years.
Christian grew up in Germany and now divides his time between Europe and his adopted home, South Africa. He's been collecting forest mushrooms since he was very young and has an uncanny ability to find real beauties!
Mostly Harald serves the mushrooms fresh at the restaurant but has also preserved for in house use. This year, he thought that others might enjoy having their own at home. They also make fantastic foodie gifts.
